ODIX CDR Use Case:
B2B Data Center Services File Archiving Service
Industry: Data Center
Customer: B2B File Archiving Service
Problem: How to store only clean and safe files?
Solution: ODIX NetFolder for file transfer
Customer is a document and data management specialist, enabling enterprises and organizations to securely manage, store and protect all their confidential documents and data, at all times.
Customer is the first company to obtain PSDC (a new e-archiving legal framework) status in Luxembourg. To finalize the process, the company was required to implement a cyber security solution to protect emails and information exchange with customers, and ensure that all stored files are malware-free and safely saved in their e-archives.
The company installed a gateway that implements the full ODIX process to ensure the safety of data stored in e-archives. This solution benefits both company and its customers, since ODI processes were integrated between data exchange channels, protecting both parties. The ODI solution highly-effective against ransomware, cryptolockers and Distributed Malware Attacks (DMA) – the most sophisticated type of malware.
With this ‘first of its kind’ implementation, company is effectively protecting its infrastructure and customers from increasingly common cyber threats. With ODI, all files are safely stored in the archive network.
